The Foreign Service Academy has kicked off a two-week induction course for all newly appointed Ambassadors, Consul-General and Senior Government officials prior to their deployment to various diplomatic Missions abroad.
Amb. Eliphas Barine, the Director General, Political and Diplomatic Affairs represented the Principal Secretary, Dr. Korir SingOei to preside over the opening ceremony, held on Monday 24th February, 2025.
The Director General highlighted the importance of the induction saying it was designed to equip the Envoys with requisite knowledge and skills to to enable them
Settle into their new roles while ably navigating the ever changing global diplomatic landscape and all the challenges ordinary facing a diplomat in a foreign country
