The DG Foreign Service Academy was honoured to represent the Academy during a consultative on sessional paper No. 1 of 2025 on Kenya’s foreign policy 2024.
The high-level meeting between brought together the ministry of Foreign & Diaspora Affairs and the National Assembly’s Departmental Committee for Defense & Foreign Relations.
The DG updated the meeting of the funding requirements for the proper establishment of the Academy to effectively implement its strategic plan.
The Foreign Service Academy is established under Kenya’s Foreign Service Act (2021), with a mandate to undertake high quality training of Kenya’s diplomats to equip them with necessary skills for effectively diplomatic engagements and representation both in the region and globally.
